How Do I Use Bubble Craft Bubble Bags?
Place the plant material into a bucket filled with ice water. Gently stir and agitate the mixture for several minutes—longer, slower stirring is more effective. Arrange the Bubble Bags by nesting them in order, starting with the largest micron bag inside the next largest one. The smallest, 25-micron bag should be on the outside (if used), containing all other bags, with the largest, 220-micron bag on the inside.
Place the nested Bubble Bags into an empty bucket or container. Pour the ice water and plant material mixture carefully through the bags. Gradually lift the innermost, largest-micron Bubble Bag, allowing the water to pass through while keeping the plant material and ice inside. You can reuse the contents of this bag for a second or third run.
Next, slowly lift the subsequent bag out, ensuring as much material as possible is collected on the screen. You may dip the bag back into the water or spray its interior with a gentle stream of water to help knock the material down onto the screen. If planning multiple runs, save this step for the final one.
Turn the bag inside out over a bowl of appropriate size. Use a spoon, plastic card, spatula, or similar tool to scrape the collected material off the screen and onto greaseproof paper to dry.

What is a Micron?
A micron is a tiny measurement, defined as a micrometre, a unit of measurement equal to one-millionth of a meter (1 µm = 0.000001 meters). Microns are used to measure the size of particles and openings in mesh or screen materials. In the context of bubble bags, the micron number refers to the size of the holes contained in the mesh, which determines which particles can pass through. A smaller micron number indicates a finer mesh, which allows smaller particles to pass through while trapping larger ones.
