Bottomless Or Not?
With the Bottomless Pollinator®, there's no need to remove the drum for product collection or quality separation. Simply place the machine, along with the drum and plant material, onto the next tray and continue turning as you effortlessly collect your sifted material. This however comes at a higher cost, We only recommend bottomless Pollinators if you are doing multiple runs at a time.
How To Use The Pollinator P150 Bottomless?
1. Prepare Your Work Environment:
For the best results, work in the coldest environment possible. Lower temperatures help the trichomes separate more efficiently and reduce the risk of plant material contamination.
2. Freeze Your Plant Material:
Before starting, freeze your plant material for several hours. This step makes the trichomes more brittle and easier to sift during the process.
3. Load the Drum:
Fill the drum with your frozen plant material, ensuring not to overfill to maintain optimal tumbling efficiency.
4. Set Up the Machine:
Place the drum into the machine securely. Ensure it is properly seated to prevent unnecessary movement during operation.
5. Begin the Sifting Process:
Turn on the machine and let it run for several minutes. The gentle rotational motion will separate the trichomes from the plant material. Adjust the runtime based on your desired yield and quality.
6. Collect Your Crystals:
Once the process is complete, stop the machine. With the Bottomless Pollinator®, there's no need to remove the drum. Simply slide the machine onto a collection tray to gather the sifted crystals. For quality separation, you can transfer the machine to a different tray and continue processing.
7. Repeat the Process:
Refill the drum with plant material and repeat the sifting process until your batch is fully processed. Monitor the product for quality—stop when the material begins to turn green, indicating plant matter contamination.

Pollinator - The Original Automatic Dry Sift Tumbler
The Pollinator Company was founded in 1994 by Mila Jansen.
With the invention and release of the Pollinator®, a device to separate the crystals from leaf material, a new era began.
Next to its elegant simplicity, the beauty of this machine lies in the fact that the most suitable plant material is small leaves and/or trim.
For more than two decades enthusiasts and extract artists have been obtaining high quality products from material which had hitherto been considered waste – Trash To Stash!
Should I Buy A Bottomless Pollinator Or Not?
Original Pollinators with a Bottom:
- Design: These machines have a fully enclosed drum with a bottom panel.
- Functionality: The trichomes and sifted material are collected on the bottom surface, making it easy to gather and manage the extracted product.
- Use Case: Ideal for users who prefer a contained system for cleaner handling and controlled collection of sifted material.
Bottomless Pollinators:
- Design: These machines lack a bottom panel, allowing the sifted material to fall freely onto a collection surface, such as a tray or clean workspace.
- Functionality: Provides flexibility for larger-scale operations where you can customize the collection area or use larger trays for continuous processing.
- Use Case: Preferred for high-volume users who need faster output and the ability to work with custom collection setups.
Choosing Between the Two:
The original Pollinators are excellent for smaller, more contained setups where precision and ease of use are a priority. Bottomless Pollinators are better suited for larger operations, offering greater versatility and higher throughput.
