Grasspresso GP6003 3 Ton Hydraulic Rosin Press
The Grasspresso GP6003 steps things up to 3 tons of hydraulic pressing force.
This is a really useful size for anyone who wants something more capable than a small manual press but doesn't need a huge machine.
It has heated plates and a hydraulic system, giving you much more control over the pressing process. The compact size also makes it easier to fit into a smaller workspace.
If you're searching for a 3 ton rosin press that's not unnecessarily large, the GP6003 is worth looking at.

Grasspresso GP30-5 5 Ton Hydraulic Rosin Press
Next up is the Grasspresso GP30-5 5 Ton.
As you'd expect, you've got more pressing force than the GP6003, making this a good choice if you want a bit more capacity without jumping straight to one of the big presses.

Grasspresso GP50-5-7 7 Ton Hydraulic Rosin Press
The Grasspresso GP50-5-7 gives you up to 7 tons of pressing force.
This is a good middle-ground option if the 3 or 5 ton presses aren't quite enough for what you're looking to do, but you don't want to go all the way up to a 15 or 20 ton machine.
The extra pressing force gives you more room to work with while still keeping the press relatively compact compared with the larger Graveda models.

Grasspresso EPIC 15 Ton Hydraulic Rosin Press
If you're after something considerably more powerful, the Grasspresso EPIC 15 Ton is where the range starts getting serious.
The hydraulic system can provide up to 15 tons of force and the press also includes a pressure gauge, which is useful when you want to keep an eye on the pressure you're applying and repeat settings between presses.
The EPIC is a much heavier-duty machine than the smaller Graveda presses and is aimed at people who need the extra capacity.

Graveda GMP 20 Ton Rosin Press
At the top of the range is the Graveda GMP 20 Ton.
This is the press to look at if you specifically want a high-force hydraulic machine. It uses a hydraulic cylinder and includes a manometer for monitoring pressure.
With up to 20 tons of pressing force available, it's a completely different class of machine compared with the smaller GP2 and GP6003.
If you're looking for a 20 ton hydraulic rosin press and want something built around serious pressing force, the GMP 20 Ton is the largest Graveda press we currently stock.
Which Graveda Press Should You Buy?
There's no single Graveda press that's right for everyone. It really comes down to how much you need to press and how much space you have available.

The biggest isn't necessarily the best choice. A smaller press can be easier to use and take up much less room, while the larger hydraulic presses make more sense when you actually need the extra force and capacity.
Why Hydraulic?
One of the main reasons people choose the Graveda range is the hydraulic system.
Instead of relying on a manual lever to generate pressure, the hydraulic system does the hard work for you. As you move up through the range, the difference becomes more noticeable, particularly with the 15 and 20 ton models.
The larger presses also give you pressure readings, which can be useful if you're trying to keep your pressing process consistent.
Don't Just Look at the Ton Rating
It's easy to get caught up in the numbers when you're comparing rosin presses. 20 tons sounds better than 5 tons, but that doesn't automatically mean you'll get better results.
Your temperature, pressure, loading, material preparation and pressing time all matter.
The press needs to suit what you're actually doing. If you're only working with smaller amounts, a compact 3 or 5 ton machine may make much more sense than buying a much larger press.
On the other hand, if you're looking for a serious hydraulic press with plenty of available force, that's where the EPIC 15 Ton and GMP 20 Ton come into their own.
