The Lowtemp 3x5 Cage Kit is an upgraded version of the original Lowtemp plate kits, designed and crafted in Denver, Colorado, using certified American alloys for a durable product built to last a lifetime. Unlike cheap Chinese knockoffs, which often use inconsistent alloys, our kits are made from high-quality materials to prevent bending and warping. This cage kit is designed for use with most shop hydraulic presses, often called H frame Presses. Just contact us if you're unsure.

The plates are mounted on a spring-guided track to ensure perfect alignment, eliminating any risk of mounting failure or wobbling even with prolonged use. Additionally, the design offers enhanced heat management by reducing direct contact with the ram of the press, helping to control heat transfer—crucial for presses where the ram is part of the hydraulic system.

Optional Insulation Features:

• We offer the option to extend shoulder bolts and springs, and insulate the platens using G11 insulation. This enhances the controller’s efficiency, prolongs the electronics' life, speeds up heat-up time, and helps reduce heat transfer to the hydraulic ram.

Important Note:

• This cage kit is not compatible with 6-ton A-Frame presses. The total height of the cage is 4.5" (5.5" for insulated versions).
